Arnold Lobel’s beloved characters hop from page to stage in this lovely musical which remains true to the loving and amused spirit of the original stories. We follow two great friends, the cheerful and popular Frog and the rather grumpy Toad and all their animal and bird friends, through four fun-filled seasons. Waking from hibernation in the spring, they plant gardens, swim, rake leaves and go sledding, learning life lessons along the way, the most important being the one about friendship and rejoicing in the qualities that make each of us different and special.
